Published Articles These articles were written for and published by the FABRICATOR magazine. This magazine is the Official Publication of the National Ornamental & Miscellaneous Metals Association (40+ years young). NOMMA, as the organization is most often referred, has over 900 members worldwide. Buff Polish & Grind joined NOMMA in 1995. Todd Daniel, editor of the Fabricator magazine met Joe at METALfab ’96 (the NOMMA national convention and trade show). Todd asked Joe to write an article depicting Joe’s involvement in the UPTOWN HOUSTON STREETSCAPE (a massive mirror stainless steel arch project). This article became the first of three written between July 96 and December 97. Last spring, Joe wrote a very in-depth article on brass polishing, which became our most popular article in 1997. In the last issue, he followed up with another piece on aluminum polishing. Joe has also sponsored several new members and he’s leading a workshop at the upcoming METALfab convention.
