If you want to be taught by the best of the best, you need to spend the day with Joe Merritt learning to use the latest technology in machinery and abrasives. Joe has 99% memory recall enabling him to teach from past and present experiences with explicit detail. Joe has 36 years of experience in the industrial market place. Seven (7) years were in industrial purchasing, followed by twenty-nine (29) years as an industrial supply salesman. Since 1984 Joe has dedicated his every effort to the specialization of grind, polish & buff methods, equipment and supplies. Please visit the Methods Research section of this web site. Here you can review some of the many types of customer problems which have been solved in the BPG® methods research facility forming the basis for Joe's knowledge.

With years of hands on deburring, grinding, polishing and buffing, Joe has gained extensive knowledge while working with stainless steel, aluminum, brass, cobalt-chrome, titanium, copper, bronze, pewter, silver, acrylic, polycarbonate, wood, epoxy coatings and exotic substances. As time allows, you will be taught how to use the proper equipment, abrasives, buffs and compounds necessary to produce finishes ranging from satin to mirror on one or more materials. At the end of the training day, each participant will be given a handout covering the subject matter for study and review after returning home.

Following is an overview of a typical day of training:

• Monday thru Thursday 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Classroom overview of all subject matter.
• 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon Classroom continues with working lunch provided.
• 12:00 Noon to 4:00 P.M. Methods Research lab – hands on instruction.
• No cameras, video or recording equipment allowed without prior approval.
